Crowdfunding

Pacific Crowdfunding is an online fundraising tool utilized by the University of the Pacific that allows Pacific students, faculty and staff to create and share fundraising campaigns with an engaged community. Crowdfunding empowers the Pacific community to create projects they may be interested in or care about. Also, 100% of all gifts will directly support University of the Pacific projects and programs.

Any Pacific student, faculty or staff member interested in posting a project can complete an application (instructions included). Once posted, they share the project with known supporters, who can contribute to the project financially and are encouraged to share the project with their own community and social network. Gifts, with the option to give anonymously, as well as goal progress are displayed on the project page and appear in social media feeds. The point is to spread the word to interested supporters to meet the project goal.

After making a gift, you will receive a receipt in the mail confirming your gift to use for tax purposes. We encourage you to discuss your charitable giving with your tax advisor. University of the Pacific is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
